JPY

Japan. Get paid in digital dollars.

For illustrators, translators, developers and small shops in Japan with customers overseas. They pay your link in USDC or USDT, into a wallet in your name.

What works here.

Japan’s freelancer law makes certain business clients fix your payment date within 60 days of receiving your work, if you work without employees. Moove doesn’t change that date. It gives you a wallet in your own name, with an @handle to share.

Frequently asked questions.

My client has never used stablecoins. How do they pay me?

Send a payment link. A client who already holds USDC or USDT pays from the wallet they use, with no Moove account. One who doesn’t can add money in the Moove App, where their country is live.

Can a sole proprietor in Japan use Moove?

Yes, as a person. Moove has no company verification today, so whichever form your business takes in Japan, you verify once as yourself and everything stays in your own name.

What do I need to verify?

Only adding money or cashing out needs it, once, with your passport, driver’s licence or ID card. Sending, receiving, swapping and bridging need none.

What works here today?

Adding money. Pay in Japanese yen by Visa, Mastercard, Apple Pay or Google Pay, and your USDC lands in your Moove Wallet. Cash-out to Japanese yen is coming soon.

What does adding money cost?

0.50%, on top of the exchange rate. You see the full amount in your quote before you confirm.

Can I finish on the website?

Not today. The website shows you a live rate, and every conversion finishes in the Moove App for iOS or Android.

Where to next.

Your money. Your move.
