Frequently asked questions.
Can I accept crypto payments without a website?
Yes. Your Business Profile is a hosted payment page at moove.xyz/@yourbusiness, so you need no website, plugin or developer. Share the link anywhere you talk to customers, or show its QR code in person. Customers connect a wallet, enter an amount and pay. The payment converts into the token you chose and lands in your default wallet.
What is the difference between a Business Profile and a payment link?
On your Business Profile the customer chooses the amount, which suits tips, deposits, walk-in sales and open-ended payments. A payment link asks for a fixed amount you set, which suits invoices and checkouts. On a payment link the customer covers any conversion fee, so exactly what you asked for lands. On your profile, the 0.02% conversion fee comes out of the amount received.
Which currency will I receive?
You choose. Each wallet on your account carries a settlement token on a specific network, set under Edit wallet & settlement on the web. Most businesses pick USDC, a stablecoin that holds its value at about a dollar. You can change it whenever you like, and the change applies to payments that arrive afterwards.
Can I use my business name as my handle?
If it is available. Handles are 3 to 63 characters of letters, numbers and underscores, with one holder per handle, claimed first come. You can change your handle once every 7 days, but the old one is released and links pointing at it stop working, so settle on it before you print it.
Does Moove hold the money customers pay me?
No. Moove is non-custodial: payments settle straight into a wallet you control, and Moove never holds your funds. Your keys stay with you. That also means your recovery phrase is yours to protect, so back it up before you start taking payments.
Where do I see what customers have paid?
Every payment appears in Transactions, with the amount the customer sent, the amount you received, their handle or address and the transaction hash. The Business Dashboard adds a 30-day view of money in and money out, and you can export a statement as Excel, CSV or PDF for your accountant.
