Frequently asked questions.
Which way to get paid should I use?
It depends on how you sell. On a website, the Crypto Payment Gateway takes crypto at your checkout, and the Fiat Payment Gateway adds Visa and Mastercard. For an invoice or an order, send a payment link. At a counter, show your Moove Pay QR code. They all run on one Moove Business account, so you can use as many as you need.
What do I receive?
Stablecoins, in a wallet you control. Crypto payments convert into your settlement token, such as USDC on the chain you choose, and card payments settle in USDC on Solana. Moove is non-custodial, so it never holds your funds or your keys.
Do my customers need a Moove account?
Not to pay from a wallet. Anyone can pay your payment links and your payment page from a supported wallet, such as MetaMask, Phantom or Trust, without signing up. To pay by card, a customer needs the Moove App and a one-time identity check.
How much does it cost?
There are no setup, monthly or payout fees. A payment in your own token on your own network is free, and one that converts across tokens or networks costs 0.02%, which your customer covers on a payment link. On a card payment, the fees are in the quoted rate, so nothing is added at checkout. Network fees never go to Moove.
Can customers pay by card?
Yes, on fiat payment links. Switch on Visa and Mastercard in your Moove Business settings and price a link in Australian or Hong Kong dollars, and customers can pay it from a crypto wallet, or by card after signing in with the Moove App. Card acceptance is rolling out, and the setting tells you if it isn’t on your account yet.
How do I take payments in person?
With Moove Pay. Show the QR code from My Profile in Moove Business, on screen or printed. Customers scan it with the Moove App, or with their phone’s camera to pay from any crypto wallet. For a fixed total, show a payment link’s code instead.
What is Moove Terminal?
Moove Terminal is coming soon: a point of sale in the Moove App. You enter the amount, the app shows a QR code for it, and your customer scans it to pay from their own wallet. To take payments in person today, use Moove Pay with your phone and a QR code.
