Frequently asked questions.
What is a crypto payment link?
A web address that asks for a specific amount. Your customer opens it, connects a wallet and pays. On Moove, the link is priced in your settlement token, such as USDC, and any conversion from what the customer holds runs inside their payment, so you receive exactly the amount on the link.
How do I create a USDC payment link?
Set your default wallet’s settlement token to USDC on the chain you prefer. Then open Receive in Moove Business, enter the amount, add a description and create the link. Developers can create the same link with one call to the Moove API.
Does my customer need a Moove account?
No. Anyone with a supported wallet can pay a link from their browser, including MetaMask, Phantom, Base, Trust, Solflare and Backpack, with no sign-up. Customers who use the Moove App can open the link there and pay from Moove Wallet.
Can a payment link be paid more than once?
A link created in Moove Business accepts one payment and never expires, so an invoice cannot be paid twice. Through the Moove API you can set a usage cap for a link that should take several payments, and an expiry date after which it stops.
Can I cancel a payment link?
Yes. Deactivate it in Manage → Payment Links and it stops accepting payments straight away. Deactivation is permanent, so create a new link if you need one again.
Who pays the fees on a payment link?
Your customer. You set the amount, so a conversion’s 0.02% and their own network fee are on their side, and you receive the full amount.
Can customers pay a payment link by card?
Yes, where card payments are live. Turn on cards and price a link in local currency, and customers can pay by Visa or Mastercard, or from a crypto wallet. Card payments settle as USDC on Solana in your wallet.
Should I use a payment link or my business page?
Use a payment link when you set the amount, as with an invoice or an order. Use your business page when the customer chooses it, such as a tip or a top-up. On your page the customer names the figure, so any conversion fee comes out of what you receive.
