Frequently asked questions.
How do I receive money from abroad with Moove?
Claim a Moove Handle, choose the stablecoin and network you want to be paid in, then share your @handle or a payment link. The sender pays from any supported wallet with whatever they hold, and it lands in your wallet as your token.
Can I get paid in USDC when the sender has USDT?
Yes. Your settlement token decides what lands, not what the sender holds. Moove swaps and bridges on the way. On a payment link the payer covers the 0.02% fee. If they pay your @handle instead, it comes out of the amount.
Can freelancers receive international payments?
Yes. Create a payment link for the exact amount, add the invoice number and share it. The client pays from their wallet, and the link closes after one payment, so it can’t be paid twice.
Does the person paying me need a Moove account?
No. Anyone with a supported wallet can pay your @handle or a payment link. They don’t need to know which token or network you prefer: the conversion happens inside their payment.
Can I cash it out to a local bank account?
Where Moove Ramp supports cashing out, yes. Sell USDC or USDT to a bank account in your own name in the Moove App, from 0.10%, after a one-time identity check.
Where does the money go when I am paid?
Straight to your wallet, in your settlement token. Moove is non-custodial: it never holds your money, so there is nothing to claim or withdraw. Change your settlement token any time; it applies to the payments that follow.
