Frequently asked questions.
How do I send money abroad with stablecoins?
Open Send in the Moove App or on moove.xyz, enter their @handle or wallet address, choose the token and the amount, then confirm in your wallet. Moove reads the token and network they want to be paid in, and runs any conversion inside the same payment.
Can I send USDT to someone who wants USDC?
Yes. You send what you hold, and they receive what they chose. Moove swaps on the way, and bridges too if you are on different networks, for 0.02%, taken from the amount.
How much does it cost to send money abroad?
Sending the same token on the same network has no Moove fee. A swap or bridge on the way costs 0.02%. Every transfer also pays the network’s own fee, which goes to the network, not to Moove. You see all of it before you approve.
Can they turn it into local money?
Where Moove Ramp supports cashing out, yes. They can sell stablecoins to a bank account in their own name in the Moove App, from 0.10%, after a one-time identity check.
Do they need a Moove account?
No. You can send to any wallet address on a supported network. A Moove Handle makes it easier, because it routes the payment to their default wallet and the token they prefer. Without one, check the address and network carefully: Moove sends exactly where you point it.
Do I need to verify my identity to send money?
No. Sending, receiving, swapping and bridging need no identity check. Verification only comes in when local money is involved, such as buying with a card or cashing out to a bank, because moving local money is regulated.
