Can I save in dollars?
Yes. Add Romanian lei, and hold USDC or USDT in a wallet only you control. They follow the US dollar, and you can’t cash out to Romanian lei yet, so add only what you want to keep in dollars.
Is the Romanian leu on the euro?
No, the leu is Romania’s own currency and doesn’t take part in Exchange Rate Mechanism II, the European Commission reports. So you add lei, not euros, and you hold USDC or USDT on Moove.
Can family abroad send me money?
Yes. They send USDC or USDT to your @handle, and it lands in your own wallet. You can hold it or send it on, but you can’t cash it out to Romanian lei yet, so keep your usual route for money you need in Romanian lei.
