What works here.

The Bank of Canada calls it a floating dollar, so the exchange rate between Canadian and US dollars keeps moving. If part of your life runs in US dollars, you can keep USDC or USDT in your own Moove Wallet.

Made for everyday money.

Family back home

Send USDC to a relative’s @handle in the Philippines or India. It stays in their wallet.

Family in Nigeria

They receive USDC at their @handle, then cash out to Naira in their own bank.

US dollars beside Canadian dollars

The Canadian dollar moves against the US dollar. USDC follows the US dollar, in your wallet.

Frequently asked questions.

Can I save in dollars?

Yes. Add Canadian dollars, and hold USDC or USDT in a wallet only you control. They follow the US dollar, and you can’t cash out to Canadian dollars yet, so add only what you want to keep in dollars.

Can I send money from Canada to family overseas?

Yes, if they have a Moove @handle. Add Canadian dollars, then send them USDC or USDT, and it lands in their own wallet. Cash-out to local money is live only in Nigeria today, so check first that they can use it.

Can family abroad send me money?

Yes. They send USDC or USDT to your @handle, and it lands in your own wallet. You can hold it or send it on, but you can’t cash it out to Canadian dollars yet, so keep your usual route for money you need in Canadian dollars.
