Can I save in dollars?
Yes. Add Polish złoty, and hold USDC or USDT in a wallet only you control. They follow the US dollar, and you can’t cash out to Polish złoty yet, so add only what you want to keep in dollars.
Does the złoty float against the dollar?
Yes, Poland has run a free-floating exchange rate since April 2000, the European Commission reports, with central bank interventions possible. So the złoty value of any USDC you hold can change.
Can family abroad send me money?
Yes. They send USDC or USDT to your @handle, and it lands in your own wallet. You can hold it or send it on, but you can’t cash it out to Polish złoty yet, so keep your usual route for money you need in Polish złoty.
